Heatwave!



Got this image back from BRT of the Pinwheel Galaxy, again another object that is hard to see with a telescope. I have done a lot of processing with this one as the image had a very red colour and the focus was not good. I've managed to pull out quite a lot of detail which shows the arms of the spiral and the colours look quite good too.

Incredible weather!
Not a cloud in the sky for almost a week and the temperature has reached 31 degrees. It gets hotter...today could break all records 39 degrees down South! Just come in from outside trying to image some DSO's with my 130m. Although it looks clear, my images are not very good and I STILL can't find the Whirlpool Galaxy, found M39 open cluster tonight though.
